If you are passionate about pathology or an aspiring pathologist, then the medical undergraduate prize is your opportunity to showcase your interest.

Medical students are invited to discuss in 1000 words their views on the topic: Molecular pathology: the future of diagnosis and treatment

Recent advances in genomics are revolutionising diagnosis and treatment and leading to personalised medicine. We are seeking an essay that best describes, in a clear and concise manner, the increasing role molecular pathology plays in diagnosis and treatment.

A prize of £200 will be awarded to the winning entrant.

The deadline for submissions passed on Sunday 11 October 2015.

The winning essay will be published on our website and in the College magazine, The Bulletin in January's edition.
