International Education Officer

Salary £26,500

The College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual for this newly established position within its busy International Department.  This role will manage and coordinate a range of UK and international initiatives designed to support the education, training and professional development of overseas doctors and scientists who wish to undertake a period of study, research and training in the UK or obtain fellowship of the College. 

The International Education Officer will act as a key point of contact for enquiries from overseas doctors and scientists; work with the International Manager to develop and co-ordinate a range of College-led international training and professional development courses; and co-ordinate all aspects of the College’s Medical Training Initiative, observership and clinical attachment schemes.

This is a dynamic and varied role.  Experience of working with international graduates is essential, as is project management/coordination experience. The ability to prioritise and organise a complex workload, communicate information confidently and concisely to a diverse range of audiences and excellent IT skills are also essential features of this role. Some overseas travel may be required in this role.
